Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will:

  • Ensure that supply and demand analysis is performed together with the stakeholder to identify supply risks and able to mitigate in a timely manner with minimal cost impact.
  • Provide market overview and holds business review with external partners to identify critical business parameters such as company liquidity, new technologies, new product, business continuity plan, price projection and protection.
  • Work with manufacturing stakeholders to revisit existing chemical formulation and able to provide suggestion for reformulation to support cost improvement
  • Work with various business stakeholders’ groups to identify and qualify new or existing capable suppliers, initiate requests for proposals/quotations (RFPs/RFQs), advise requestors with respect to contract terms and conditions
  • Conduct RFP and lead cross functional teams through the selection process of preferred suppliers with effective scoring criteria to critically evaluate supplier proposals in accordance with company policies
  • Lead/support negotiations on General Procurement agreements, including, but not limited to, Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Orders balancing business deliverables, legal interests and pricing
  • Conduct analysis on proposals for services & products in support of various Fab & Research and Development functions
  • Develop, refine and implement category strategies and tactics that enable the procurement of chemical & gas products and services at the highest value benefit to the company

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Extensive knowledge in chemical formulation and able to provide potential alterations or formula tweaking.
  • Comprehensive exposure on product development and project management are preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in {Supply Chain Management}
  • Experienced in strategic sourcing, contract management and data analysis
  • Broad network on business intelligence
  • Previous experience as a Commodity Strategist
  • Extensive exposure in chemical and gas industry
