Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:

  • Be responsible for all areas relating to finance, accounting, taxation, compliance and reporting functions
  • Oversee finance team; financial planning; Local treasury activities
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure all functions including accounting services - PTP, OTC, RTR, Tax, Controlling and Treasury tasks - are taken care of by BPO and respective locations 
  • Review of account transactions posting to ensure alignment to both statutory and managerial reporting requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Financial and Managerial Reports to be used both for statutory requirements and business decision making
  • Review accuracy, completeness and relevance of reports generated
  • Propose improvements and automation on currently held process for report generation
  • Address the concerns and questions of business stakeholders and users of the output reports
  • Provide monthly and quarterly overview of financial performance of the company including key reporting tasks related to BIR, PEZA, DOLE, DTA and other functions
  • Provide Key financial performance updates in preparation for quarterly board meetings
  • Track SLA performance of Finance, P&C and government reporting for the company 
  • Oversee monthly revenue accruals based on the actual costs and the FTEs billable for the month. Involve also in Month-end closing activities such as posting of the Billing Invoices in the Accounting Software and recording of collections for the month.
  • Oversee the computation of the Income Tax Provision based on Gross Income Tax for the ecozone and RCIT for the other nonPEZA sites (still processing the application to PEZA) 
  • Oversee Fixed Asset Process-Doing all entries related to Fixed Asset such as acquisition, depreciation and retirement 
  • Handle all the compliance of the Center for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) such as VAT (including VAT Relief/SLSP), Withholding Tax (including Alphalist), Withholding Tax on Compensation, Fringe Benefit Tax, Donor’s Tax, Income Tax Return and all other requirements regarding taxation 
  • Liaise with the Professional Consultants of the Company in terms of the PEZA Compliance Review and BIR Tax Review
  • Be in-charge of Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) Compliance such as EcoZone
  • Apply for the PEZA registration of the other sites, including drafting of the company’s project
  • Check of the Statutory Reports (SSS, PHIC, HDMF) prepared by the Human Resource Department before submission for payment

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or Economics and at least 5 years of relative experience 
  • Has experience in processing PEZA or BOI compliance and reporting
  • Has good communication and technical skills

 

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM
