Job Description

You will:

  • Effectively lead work preventing issues from arising, which could later degrade the end-user experience of the performance of clients
  • Lead work aimed at increasing the end-user adoption of the service provided (e.g. ensure updated training and knowledge articles are available and that communication is continuously provided to end-users about new or changed features)
  • Drive or take part in effective execution of complex troubleshooting, resolution and operational tasks in collaboration with both primary vendors and third-party suppliers e.g. local vendors in a large-scale, global corporate IT environment. Actively seek cooperation with other SME's and vendors to resolve issues
  • Contribute as necessary to ensure successful deployment activities and taking new or changed Business Services into operation
  • Oversee maintenance and give input to the development of End User Computing tools with a specific focus on software and client tools (SCCM platform and distributions points, Software OS & App patch management, Windows client operating systems, Client AD, GPO and OU structure and browsers) to support the delivery of IT Offerings e.g. replacement, patching, upgrades, capacity extensions, clean-up and decommissioning
  • Provide guidance and instructions to vendors on developing and maintaining key policies and procedures needed to effectively support the environment and support in closing any gaps there might be in optimizing the delivery of services. Help and support in paving the way on difficult and complex issues
  • Act as a focal point of contact for projects and will be coordinating smooth and efficient handover from projects and into operations
  • Day to day operation of our client delivery systems and applications
  • Ensure and manage the full lifecycle of knowledge articles related to end-user computing such as identification of needed articles, updates to existing articles and help improve the overall knowledge management area 


  • Education: Degree in IT and Business or similar education
  • Highly IT literate (IT drivers)
  • Fluent in English oral and written
  • Understanding of the set of IT Services provided to enterprises by a global IT organization and the IT infrastructure technologies that supports and enables them
  • Distribution tools like the Microsoft SCCM platform and software distribution in general
  • Operating and maintaining an SCCM infrastructure
  • Operating and maintaining images, task sequences etc. in SCCM
  • Working with an application portfolio (patching, updating packages etc.)
  • Application packaging
  • Working in a service management ticketing tool
  • Optimization of client performance
  • Microsoft patch management tools
  • Client operating systems and OS systems, Linux, Mac OS or other, Client AD, GPO and OU structure
  • Remote desktop tools
  • Knowledge around web browsers (Edge, Chrome, Internet Explorer and the likes) and their configuration
  • Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, VBS and the likes)
