Job Description


You will...

  • Lead project controls management including, but not limited to, baseline schedule development and management, resource plan, cost estimate, project budget, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools
  • Evaluate and draw periodic conclusion overall project health status. Seek reconciliation where necessary
  • Ensure that project control processes are consistently applied across project
  • Report overall/individual project health status and related matters to project coordinator
  • Support programme, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices
  • Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the project
  • Monitor and control programme compliance in respect of the project’s contractual obligations
  • Seek resolution on key critical issues, areas of concern and recommend plans of action which may include cost and schedule issues/concerns/recovery plans
  • Facilitate risk assessment to avoid any negative exposure
  • Participate and support contract meetings including senior staff meetings, commercial meetings, progress and programme meetings
  • Manage and ensure reconciliation of project control data with financial systems
  • Provide leadership to Program Managers to establish document control system
  • Review quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costs
  • Advise and/or seek resolution of any conditions affecting timeliness, costs and quality of the project
  • Prepare periodic updates to Coordinator/Top Management on project health and concerns
  • Provide open communication and collaboration between all parties
  • Review, evaluate and recommendation changes to project documents as required by the project needs


  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • At least Twenty (20) years’ work experience in Project Management, Program management, Field Cost Control, Planning and Scheduling for construction or similar industries
  • Experience in developing and/or analyzing budget contract and operating plans
  • Experience in lead managerial or supervising roles
  • Project management knowledge/experience
  • Management of project budget and cost control including budgeting, scheduling, change management, estimating, tracking progress, forecasting, earned value management and risk management
  • Resolve escalated issue form operations
  • Good knowledge of project quality, contract and document control system and procedures
