Job Description


You will:

  • Provide project controls management including, but not limited to, baseline schedule development and management, resource plan, cost estimate, project budget, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools
  • Collate and evaluate weekly / monthly analytical reports from individual Package are in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances. Other reporting includes but not limited to change register, risk register and regular cost reporting.
  • Ensure that project control processes are consistently applied across the project
  • Support programme integration, governance, formats, plan optimization, and project controls best practices
  • Manage governance to ensure robust cost and schedule performance for the agreed Scope of Work
  • Monitor and control programme compliance in respect of the project’s contractual obligations
  • Identify and report on key critical issues, areas of concern and recommend plans of actions which may include cost and schedule issues/concerns/recovery plans
  • Conduct risk assessment to avoid any negative exposure
  • Participate and support contract meetings including senior staff meetings, commercial meetings, progress and programme meetings.
  • Manage and ensure reconciliation of program control data with respective Package Manager and Program Manager
  • Provide leadership to respective Package Program Managers to establish and maintain document control system and project control management procedure
  • Track quality data used for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends and actual costs
  • Ensure regular and timely reporting of project progress of any conditions affecting timeliness, costs and quality
  • Conduct evaluation on periodic reports from Package Program Managers
  • Provide open communication and collaboration between all parties
  • Review, evaluate and recommendation changes to project documents as required by project needs
  • Maintain documentation as dictated by the Project Document Control System and Contractual obligation


  • Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering, Project/Construction Management, Contract, Business or related field
  • At least ten (10) years’ work experience in Project management, field cost control, planning & scheduling for construction or similar industries
  • Demonstrate experience in various of project controls, estimating, planning/scheduling, forecasting, project management
  • Project management knowledge/experience
  • Management of project budget and cost control including budgeting, scheduling, change management, estimating, tracking progress, forecasting, earned value management and risk management
  • Resolve escalated issues from operations
  • Management or project quality, contract and document control system and procedures
  • Good people management and collaboration skills
  • Independent discretion, judgment and proactive mindset
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or project management software/tools
  • Be willing and committed to take on new scope and when required
