Job Description

The Resort Manager will take ownership of planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and financial health of the resort. Provide world-class experiences for our guests in a profitable way while never compromising safety, and ensure all operations are conducted in a manner that protects our environment. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Ensure daily stock control processes are implemented to remove the risk of monthly variance issues

  • Demonstrate exemplary cost control, pursuing value and eliminating waste.

  • Comply with all internal and external resort documentation

  • Control costs and eliminate fraud, pilfering or theft in our cash flow and stock systems.

  • Eliminate corporate and personal liability issues to protect Atlantis from risk of any legal decisions against the company or its employees

  • Ensure your team is compliant with all company training, SOPs and Memos

  • Strengthen the leadership team, ensure the integrity of our systems and be ready to step up into the COO role

  • Use appropriate meetings and communication to improve shift understanding, morale, service, productivity and efficiency.

  • Maintain the highest levels of service in our resort operations and our transfer services by supporting training programs and updates

  • Enhance your skills and contribution to the company by developing yourself professionally

  • Ensure the retention and longevity of loyal staff by recruiting the best candidates suitable for each role

  • Adhere to your department planning by developing and mentoring your reportees (subordinates) while documenting their progress

  • Maintain standards by enforcing discipline with your HOD's and furthermore supporting the HOD's with their subordinates. 

  • You are responsible for all equipment within the resort You must ensure plans for maintenance, redundancy and replacement are in place to avoid any disruption to operations. You are responsible for ensuring items are procured at the best possible value

  • Plan to use down periods to certify resort upkeep and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce any potential operational disruption

  • Take proactive steps to increase POS sales.

  • Provide world class guest service that generates five star reviews and encourages repeat business.

  • Eliminate health risks by ensuring the very highest cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be a Bachelor Degree holder (College Graduate)

  • With at least 4 years of experience in leader or supervising a team

  • At least 2 years Dive Resort Management Experience is an advantage

 

Work Location: Dumaguete

Work Schedule: Onsite. 6 days a week (Flexible)
