KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Operate sachet filling and flexible packaging production lines safely and efficiently to achieve production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Perform machine operation, troubleshooting, minor repairs, autonomous maintenance, and routine equipment checks to ensure optimal machine performance and production availability.
  • Conduct production activities including line clearance, changeovers, Clean-In-Place (CIP), Clean-Out-of-Place (COP), and startup preparations in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process and perform required quality checks, inspections, and documentation to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Complete production records, checklists, OEE reports, and operational documentation accurately and within required timelines.
  • Support machine conversions and changeovers between product SKUs within established standard times to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Technical Operators, and Maintenance teams during machine breakdowns, troubleshooting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures, recurring machine issues, and production losses to prevent future occurrences.
  • Perform autonomous maintenance activities according to the preventive maintenance schedule and ensure machinery remains in safe and reliable operating condition.
  • Follow all Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Hygiene Knowledge (GHK), and company compliance requirements, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and machine guarding procedures.
  • Support machinery safety audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • Apply Manufacturing methodologies, including Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Root Cause Problem Solving (R2S), and Focused Improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Identify, raise, and implement Operational Focused Improvements (OFI) and One Point Lessons (OPL) that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Utilize digital tools, mobile devices, and company platforms to support operational reporting, maintenance activities, and production monitoring.
  • Participate in training programs, team activities, and continuous learning initiatives to develop technical skills and manufacturing expertise.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities related to manufacturing operations as assigned by the Line Manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of a Technical-Vocational course, TESDA-certified program, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production operations, machine operation, packaging, or food and consumer goods manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of machine operations, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and production processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of workplace safety standards, hazard identification, risk assessment, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and safe work practices.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality standards, hygiene requirements, and operational compliance procedures.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, prioritize, and resolve operational and equipment-related issues using structured problem-solving techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor production quality and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment and collaborate with operators, technicians, engineers, and production leadership.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to report safety, quality, operational, and maintenance concerns clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrated initiative in driving productivity improvements, waste reduction, equipment efficiency, and operational excellence.
  • Willingness to work in a shifting schedule and manufacturing plant environment.
