KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
You will: 

  • Conduct research and development of new products to meet market and company needs.
  • Enhance and maintain quality of existing products.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s quality management system, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop and improve products by evaluating alternative materials, packaging options, and processes.
  • Plan and execute laboratory-scale tests, production trials, and shelf-life studies, and establish product specifications and parameters.
  • Recommend cost-saving initiatives through ingredient and packaging optimization.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, QA, suppliers, and other teams to ensure product compatibility and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • You must have at least 1–2 years of relevant experience in Research and Development (R&D) or product development in the food or beverage industry.
  • You must have strong knowledge of quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • You must have experience in conducting lab-scale tests, production trials, and shelf-life studies, and setting product specifications.
  • You must have the ability to evaluate alternative materials, packaging, and processes for product improvement.
  • You must have analytical skills to provide cost-saving recommendations through ingredient and packaging optimization.
  • You must be detail-oriented and capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams such as production, engineering, purchasing, QA, and suppliers.
  • You must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Work Schedule: Regular day shift (8 am – 5 pm)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure effective and consistent implementation and monitoring of food safety and quality programs such as GMP, SSOP, HACCP, LMS, and SQMS.
  • Provide both general and technical support to maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with and uphold the company’s food safety and quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitor production processes, document any unusual incidents, deviations, or issues, analyze their impact, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Conduct routine verification of compliance with GMP, SSOP, and HACCP in both the plant and warehouse.
  • Perform regular internal audits to ensure adherence to food safety and quality management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must be a BS Food Technology graduate.
  • You must have at least 1 year of relevant experience in food safety, quality assurance, or production monitoring.
  • You must have solid knowledge of GMP, SSOP, HACCP, LMS, and SQMS principles and implementation.
  • You must have experience in monitoring production processes and analyzing deviations or non-conformances.
  • You must have the ability to conduct internal audits and verify compliance with food safety and quality management systems.
  • You must be detail-oriented and capable of providing logical solutions and recommendations based on analysis.
  • You must have good communication and documentation skills for reporting incidents and compliance findings.
  • You must be familiar with regulatory requirements and company standards related to food safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Comply with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 laboratory management system standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Carry out all laboratory operations with complete impartiality.
  • Conduct physico-chemical testing on raw materials, packaging materials, in-process products, finished goods, and other incoming materials.
  • Inspect finished products prior to customer delivery when required.
  • Handle customer testing requests.
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Analysis (COA).
  • Assist the HACCP Team in developing and implementing the HACCP Plan 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must be a college graduate of Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any related course. 
  • You must be a Licensed Chemical Technician.
  • You must have at least 1 year of relevant experience in laboratory operations or chemical analysis.
  • You must have strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards and laboratory management systems.
  • You must have proficiency in physico-chemical testing of raw materials, packaging materials, in-process, and finished products.
  • You must have familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety standards.
  • You must have the ability to prepare and review Certificates of Analysis (COA) accurately.
  • You must be detail-oriented and committed to impartiality and compliance in all laboratory activities.
  • You must have good communication skills for handling customer testing requests and coordinating with internal teams.
