The position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s compensation and benefits programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and alignment with business objectives. It oversees payroll accuracy, rewards programs, job evaluation, and compensation governance while ensuring compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, data privacy requirements, and company policies. The role partners with senior leaders and stakeholders to support employee attraction, retention, performance, and cost efficiency through effective total rewards strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
You will: 

  • Implement and manage the company’s overall compensation philosophy and strategy aligned with business goals and market practices.
  • Assist senior HR leadership in designing salary structures, pay grades, and job evaluation frameworks.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analyses to maintain competitive compensation levels.
  • Manage annual salary review processes, including merit increases, promotions, and salary adjustments.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll computation, processing, uploading, and authorization in accordance with prescribed payroll schedules.
  • Monitor and ensure proper administration of employee benefits, including leave credits, allowances, incentives, and other benefit programs.
  • Design, administer, review, and verify incentive and reward programs such as 13th‑month pay, bonuses, conversions, and performance‑based incentives.
  • Review and evaluate company and third‑party employee loan applications and provide recommendations for approval.
  • Handle employee clearance processing for resignations, retirements, terminations, and separations in compliance with DOLE requirements.
  • Lead job evaluation activities to ensure consistency, proper job grading, and internal equity across the organization.
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits programs comply with labor laws, tax regulations, data privacy requirements, and company policies.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Accounting in validating employee tax filings, alphalists, and statutory remittances.
  • Maintain audit readiness and proper documentation of compensation and benefits processes.
  • Analyze compensation data, trends, and workforce metrics to support decision‑making and provide insights to leadership.
  • Oversee payroll system functionality, coordinate with system providers on issues and enhancements, and ensure correct system configuration.
  • Develop and maintain procedural guidelines and documentation for compensation and payroll systems.
  • Partner with business leaders and department heads to address compensation‑related concerns and provide guidance on pay decisions.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee compensation, benefits, and personal data at all times.
  • Supervise and guide compensation and benefits staff and perform other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • You must have at least 5–8 years of experience in compensation and benefits, total rewards, or HR generalist roles with specialization in compensation and benefits.
  • You must have at least 2–3 years of managerial experience or 5–7 years of supervisory experience.
  • You must have strong knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, salary structuring, and incentive design.
  • You must have a solid understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and compensation‑related compliance requirements.
  • You must have strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills.
  • You must have advanced proficiency in Excel and HRIS/payroll systems.
  • You must have strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • You must have high integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

The position is responsible for providing legal advice, risk management support, and regulatory guidance to protect the organization’s interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. It supports corporate operations through contract drafting and negotiation, legal research, regulatory compliance, dispute management, and corporate governance activities. The role serves as a trusted advisor to senior management on legal matters affecting business operations, strategic initiatives, and regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
You will: 

  • Draft, review, negotiate, and manage legal agreements, including contracts, leases, memoranda of understanding, service agreements, employment contracts, non-disclosure agreements, shareholder agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to management on corporate governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, and business operations.
  • Assist in managing claims, disputes, investigations, and litigation matters, including coordination with external legal counsel.
  • Analyze and advise on the legal aspects of complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financing arrangements, and investment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Advise management on day-to-day legal matters involving commercial transactions, procurement, employment, and operational activities.
  • Develop, review, and maintain standardized legal templates and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Conduct legal research on emerging laws, regulations, industry developments, and jurisprudence, and provide recommendations on their potential impact.
  • Manage regulatory filings, registrations, disclosures, permits, and applications with government agencies and regulatory bodies.
  • Support corporate governance activities, including board meetings, shareholder meetings, corporate resolutions, minutes, and certifications.
  • Monitor legal and compliance risks and recommend preventive measures to safeguard company interests.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance across business functions.
  • Support compliance audits, investigations, and regulatory reviews as required.
  • Perform other legal and compliance-related responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized law school.
  • You must be a member in good standing of the Philippine Bar and duly licensed to practice law.
  • You must have at least 5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or in-house counsel role. Experience in utilities, infrastructure, water, energy, or other highly regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • You must have strong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, labor law, taxation, and regulatory compliance. Experience with SEC filings, corporate governance requirements, compliance audits, and regulatory proceedings is a plus.
  • You must have experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements and contracts.
  • You must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
  • You must demonstrate high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal matters.
  • You must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You must be capable of working independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • You must be adaptable and capable of handling a broad range of legal matters in a dynamic business environment.
