Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will:

Research: As part of this role there will be an ongoing requirement to research, evaluate and recommend:

1. Appropriate tool chains
2. Improvements to development processes
3. Future technologies to pursue.

Agile 

• Embraces the Agile manifesto. Responsible for analysing work to be carried out, estimates effort and risk associated with all changes.

Development and Implementation

• Hands-on developer to plan, build and execute application development tasks. 
• Work closely with others in the development team to assist with ensuring that best-practice design and implementation is being followed. 
• Follow programming best practice and coding guidelines, version control, automated build and test processes.

System Test and Deployment

• Design of frontend test plans and frontend unit tests to validate applications. Monitor live production systems and proactively resolve issues

Bug Fix and Continuous Improvement

• As bugs are identified they need to be verified, prioritised and resolved. You will be a key member of the team contributing to this process. Review code and recommend improvements
   

Work Set up: Hybrid, 2-3x a week onsite

Work Locations: Metro Manila (We have yet to decide on the office location, but choices are BGC, Makati and Ortigas)

Work Schedule: Anywhere starting 6AM-8AM (New Zealand time)
