Job Description

The position is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations, marketing strategies, and business development activities of the Center to achieve profitability targets while maintaining portfolio quality and regulatory compliance. It oversees risk management, credit administration, client relationship management, and operational controls to ensure sustainable growth. The role provides strategic direction, supports account officers, and represents the organization in key client, creditor, and industry engagements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
You will: 

  • Lead and manage the overall quality, profitability, and performance of the loan portfolio and related business to achieve volume and income targets.
  • Establish long‑term objectives and formulate business strategies and marketing plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Administer, plan, and control Center operations to ensure efficiency, risk mitigation, and compliance.
  • Present loan and credit approval memoranda to Executive Committees together with the Center Head and/or Account Officers.
  • Set volume, income, and business development targets for Account Officers.
  • Conduct regular client calls and site visits with Account Officers to build strong relationships and obtain first‑hand business insights.
  • Review credit and loan proposals to ensure proper structuring, risk assessment, presentation, and compliance with policies.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation required for loan and credit approvals.
  • Approve commercial and trade credit transactions within delegated authority limits.
  • Ensure strict adherence to banking policies, procedures, and approved credit deviations.
  • Represent the organization in syndicate meetings, creditors’ meetings, steering committees, and similar forums.
  • Provide technical guidance and hands‑on support to Account Officers during client negotiations and discussions.
  • Prepare the annual financial budget of the Center and monitor performance against targets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • You must have at least 10 years of leadership experience in commercial banking.
  • You must have strong financial expertise, including financial statement analysis, forecasting, and ROI evaluation.
  • You must have in‑depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
  • You must have strong market, investment, and economic analysis skills.
  • You must have proven expertise in portfolio management and credit risk assessment across diverse clients.
  • You must have strong strategic business development skills, including client acquisition, negotiation, and wallet‑share expansion.
  • You must be aggressive in a business mindset while maintaining strong relationship‑building capabilities.
  • You must be a clear, persuasive communicator capable of articulating complex concepts effectively.
  • You must be data‑driven in decision‑making and performance management.
  • You must demonstrate customer‑centric leadership and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • You must have high emotional intelligence and the ability to empower and develop teams.
  • You must be adaptable, resilient, and focused on long‑term objectives amid changing environments.
  • You must be able to speak and understand Chinese (Fukien/Hokkien).

Work Schedule: Regular shift (8 am – 5 pm) 

Work Setup: Onsite, Manila City
