Job Description

The position is responsible for providing strategic financial leadership across the Group’s business units, ensuring financial sustainability, profitability, risk management, and long-term business growth. It oversees all finance, accounting, treasury, taxation, financial planning, internal controls, corporate governance, and investment activities across multiple companies and operating entities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Lead the overall financial strategy of the Group and align financial objectives with corporate growth plans and business priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Executive Leadership Team on financial, commercial, and business matters.
  • Oversee all accounting, finance, treasury, taxation, financial planning, budgeting, and reporting activities across group companies.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes for all business units.
  • Monitor financial performance across subsidiaries and ensure achievement of revenue, profitability, cash flow, and ROI targets.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, business cases, and investment analyses to support strategic initiatives and expansion projects.
  • Lead capital planning, funding strategies, debt management, banking relationships, and liquidity management activities.
  • Evaluate and recommend financing options, investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.
  • Manage risk management frameworks, internal controls, and corporate governance processes across the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and corporate policies.
  • Oversee external audits, tax audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance activities.
  • Develop and implement financial controls, reporting standards, and performance management systems across all entities.
  • Monitor working capital, project profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency throughout the organization.
  • Support major commercial negotiations, contract evaluations, project financing arrangements, and investment decisions.
  • Lead finance transformation initiatives, including ERP implementation, business intelligence reporting, automation, and process improvement programs.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, HR, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure alignment between financial and operational goals.
  • Establish financial KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms that provide management with actionable business insights.
  • Build, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and accounting teams across the organization.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, financial discipline, continuous improvement, and business partnership throughout the Group.

 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline is an advantage
  • You must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • You must have at least 15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive leadership role.
  • You must have experience overseeing multi-company, multi-business unit, or group-level finance operations.
  • You must have strong exposure to construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, real estate, logistics, or project-based industries.
  • You must have proven experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury management, taxation, and financial governance.
  • You must have experience in capital raising, banking relationships, project financing, investment evaluation, and debt management.
  • You must have experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, business expansion, and strategic investment initiatives.
  • You must have strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
  • You must have extensive experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and performance management.
  • You must have strong leadership and people management capabilities, with experience leading large finance organizations.
  • You must have excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence executive and board-level decisions.
  • You must possess strong analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, and decision-making abilities.
  • You must demonstrate high integrity, sound business judgment, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
