The position is responsible for laboratory analysis and the monitoring of microbial cultures, and samples using specialist computer software and a range of identification methods and clinical trials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Conduct research to explore and understand the behavior of microorganisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop microbial solutions for a variety of applications.
  • Design and execute experiments to evaluate the efficacy of microbial products.
  • Analyze and interpret data to draw meaningful conclusions and insights.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in microbiology research and incorporate new findings into product development processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in microbiological research.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology.
  • You must be a Registered Microbiologist.
  • You must have at least 5 years experience in a Supervisory capacity, in microbiological evaluation of food, water, and environment within a DOH and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
  • You must be proficient in creating procedures related to Microbiology laboratory.
  • You must be trained in Microbiology and safety laboratory practices, GMP, GLP, HACCP, ISO 22000 and ISO 17025.
  • You must be highly resourceful and has strong interpersonal, communication and research skills.
  • You must be adaptable and able to collaborate effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
  • You must be flexible to varying shifts based on operational requirements.
  • You must be Computer proficient (MS Office).
