Job Description:

The Accounts Payable Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial management of a company by ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices and expenses.

You will:

  • Receive, review, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, transfers, and wire payments, in a timely manner while maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, respond to inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and reconcile vendor statements.
  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and proper documentation.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting related to accounts payable.
  • Provide support for financial reporting requirements, including the preparation of accounts payable reports and analysis as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiency gains, and automation within the accounts payable function.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, finance, and treasury, to resolve issues and improve overall financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Financial Management.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The BMS Engineer position overseas the execution of the day to day technical requirements for the Building Management System (BMS) to support the Workplace team and our vendor partners, ensuring compliance to SOPs and SLAs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will:

  • Manage the Building Management System (BMS).
  • Identify potential system software and hardware issues that may lead to unnecessary failure of services, thereby minimizing risk, disruption and inconvenience to building users.
  • Escalate technical issues where required.
  • Develop and implement innovative programmes and processes that reduce the utility costs, increase productivity and increase the savings.
  • Strive for Continuous Improvement implementation.
  • Assist with the preparations of strategic plans, budgets, and client reports, including financial reconciliation or service contract accounts in focus to BMS.
  • Implement and manage the change control process.
  • Comply with all requirements of the Client contract and meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators.
  • Deliver an exceptional quality of service to the Client, as reflected by Client feedback.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Holder of Higher Cert/Higher Diploma/Degree or above in Building, Electronics, Computer, Electrical or Facilities Management.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a BMS Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation System which includes Lighting Control, Autoshade control, HVAC operation, FDAS, Fire Suppression System, Water Leak Detection system, IAQ sensors and Wellness Display Graphics.
  • Strong PC literacy and able to manage daily activities using various systems, such as BMS, and other computerized control/monitoring system
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of people

  • Experience in CRAC, UPS, Chiller plant, or Data Centre operations is required.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements.
