Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Generate Master Production Schedules that include lithography, scroll and cap making.
  • Generate the Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) of raw materials (RM) based on firm sales orders and forecast; computes and provides item and quantities for submission to Purchasing for procurement and ensure inventory levels are optimized to avoid OOS.
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance and Engineering, Quality, Sales, Finance and Purchasing to plan and monitor production and inventory levels.
  • Responsible for monitoring, evaluating and controlling the required RM quantities to meet the Planned Job Volume requirement based on standard BOM (Bill of Materials) vs. actual consumption.
  • Establish Production and Capacity plan of both Lithography and Cap Making based on Sales Forecast.
  • Monitor actual daily production output vs Job Order quantity requirement and compute job closing rate.
  • Generate and submit to the Purchasing Department on a regular basis production/delivery plan required of Third-Party Lithographers in order to fulfil cap making production plan and eventually delivery schedule to customer.
  • Participation in Daily Operations Review meetings in order to highlight critical customer job orders and track production performance and meet sales delivery requirements.
  • Supervises the performance of the PPIC staff to ensure accurate and on time ERP transactions.
  • Achieve KPI targets with respect to allowable ERP variance and actual inventories.
  • Supervises Warehouse specialist, oversees RM warehouse & storeroom activities and inventory control of RM, PM Spare parts and Factory supplies.
  • Any additional work or activities assigned by his/her superior that is aligned with the manufacturing planning process and for the purpose of improving the manufacturing operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education/Study: Graduate of any BS Engineering major, preferably Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years in production planning gained from a manufacturing company
  • Specialized knowledge: ERP / MRP
