KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Lead the development and implementation of packaging strategies and solutions that meet product requirements, regulatory standards, and cost objectives.
• Manage the packaging development process from concept to commercialization, collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new packaging materials, technologies, and innovations.
• Oversee the testing and evaluation of packaging designs to ensure product integrity, durability, and consumer appeal while minimizing environmental impact.
• Managing the R&D team and making sure policies and procedures are kept to.
• Budgeting and forecasting new research plans and developments.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering graduate; preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineer
• With at least 5 years technical working experience in a Flexible Packaging Industry
• With at least 10years packaging development working experience in a manufacturing company
• Adept and with First-hand working experience on Sustainable Packaging Development & Technology
• Has initiative and possesses strong leadership qualities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Assist the QA Manager in managing and implementing the plant Quality Management System according to corporate directives and expectations. Collaborates with the plant management team to maintain, modify and improve the Quality System.
• Manage Customer Complaints, Root Cause Analysis and Resolution. Recommends and takes preventive and corrective actions when necessary.
• Plan & coordinate with the VAO Warehouse team to ensure semi-finished goods and packaging materials are available to support production.
• Manage the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Warehousing Practice (GWP), Good Transport Practice (GTP), ISO Compliance of Valenzuela Blending Plant and all Warehouse Locations nationwide.
• Continuously evaluate the quality and food safety system for product and process improvement opportunities in collaboration with the other concerned department.
• Handle questions and complaints from clients.
• Conduct Monthly Good Manufacturing Practices Audit on factory
• Keep abreast of product trends in relation to market development of low consumption/high efficiency and informing the management regarding development and strategies
• Design, develop and implement quality assurance plans and strategies within the bounds of company policies.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering
• With at least 2 years technical working experience in a Flexible Packaging Industry
• With at least 2 years working experience as Quality Supervisor in any packaging industries
• Adept and with First-hand working experience on ISO Certifications (ISO 9001, ISO22000)
• Adept in numerical skills, data analysis and statistical methods.

The position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of raw material warehouse by supervising and coordinating the ordering and receiving all raw materials and ensuring that inventory is at optimal level thereby minimizing operations cost.

• Determine correct quantity and ensure timely delivery of raw materials thru coordination with purchasing.
• Monitor and ensure proper implementation of raw materials receiving and issuance.
