Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Lead the development and implementation of packaging strategies and solutions that meet product requirements, regulatory standards, and cost objectives.
• Manage the packaging development process from concept to commercialization, collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new packaging materials, technologies, and innovations.
• Oversee the testing and evaluation of packaging designs to ensure product integrity, durability, and consumer appeal while minimizing environmental impact.
• Managing the R&D team and making sure policies and procedures are kept to.
• Budgeting and forecasting new research plans and developments.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering graduate; preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineer
• With at least 5 years technical working experience in a Flexible Packaging Industry
• With at least 10years packaging development working experience in a manufacturing company
• Adept and with First-hand working experience on Sustainable Packaging Development & Technology
• Has initiative and possesses strong leadership qualities. 

Work Set-up: Onsite, Monday to Saturday
