Job Description

The position is responsible for providing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis to support strategic decision-making and organizational performance. It oversees management reporting, financial planning, cost analysis, and compliance activities while partnering with business leaders to improve profitability, strengthen financial controls, and drive operational efficiency. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information and provides actionable insights that support business growth and long-term objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

You will:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, including financial performance reviews and variance analyses.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Analyze revenue, expenses, profitability, and cost drivers to support business decision-making.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational performance and profitability.
  • Prepare financial projections, forecasts, and scenario analyses for strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor financial and operational KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to management.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and general ledger activities.
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Ensure proper recording, classification, and documentation of financial transactions.
  • Maintain financial schedules, accounting records, and supporting documentation.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting processes, financial controls, and finance operations.
  • Partner with department heads to support budgeting, cost management, and financial planning initiatives.
  • Monitor departmental spending against approved budgets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Conduct profitability and cost analyses to identify efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support business cases, investment evaluations, and strategic projects through financial analysis.
  • Provide financial guidance and recommendations to support organizational growth and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare tax schedules and support statutory filings and government reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure the availability of complete supporting documentation.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and recommend process enhancements.
  • Strengthen internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.
  • You must have at least 5–8 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
  • You must have experience in management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • You must have strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • You must have demonstrated experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and management reporting.
  • You must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and Power BI (preferred).
  • You must have strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to interpret and communicate financial information effectively.
  • You must have strong organizational, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
  • You must be capable of working independently, managing multiple priorities, and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • You must demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
