Job Description
The role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and strategy for our organization. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax efficiencies for the company
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and risks for the company.
- Manage and review tax compliance processes, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and financial statements.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tax-related tasks.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters and implications.
- Evaluate and improve tax processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Lead tax audits and examinations and ensure responses to tax authorities are handled appropriately.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to tax functions and report to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; master’s degree and CPA Lawyer preferred.
- Knowledge of PAGCOR rules and regulations
- Experience in Integrated resort industry
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax accounting, BIR work experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, particularly in the hospitality or entertainment industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
Work Schedule: Regular Office Hours
Work Set-up: Onsite, Paranaque City
