Job Description
The role will be responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performance network services across all company sites and remote connections.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) systems.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls, VPNs, and security policies.
- Conduct regular network performance analysis, capacity planning, and optimization.
- Manage and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, and load balancers.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors for network-related projects and upgrades.
- Monitor and respond to network alerts and incidents in a timely manner, including root cause analysis and documentation.
- Ensure network security best practices are followed, including patch management, access controls, and vulnerability assessments.
- Maintain network diagrams, documentation, and inventory for all network assets.
- Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users related to network connectivity issues.
- Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning for the network infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in network administration, including WAN and LAN environments.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls and security tools (PAN-OS, GlobalProtect, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and network security protocols.
- Experience with other network hardware and platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
