Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  • Operate, monitor, and control mixing equipment, storage tanks, material tanks, and related process systems to ensure safe, efficient, and quality-compliant production.

  • Set up, inspect, and assess assigned equipment to ensure functionality, cleanliness, safety, and readiness for production operations.

  • Execute production activities according to the daily production plan, operational procedures, and established manufacturing standards.

  • Monitor bulk inventory levels, batch kits, and raw material availability, proactively communicating production constraints and recommending plan adjustments when necessary.

  • Coordinate the call-off and transfer of raw material batch kits from the Dispensary Area to support uninterrupted production.

  • Ensure readiness of material tanks and isotainer trucks for upcoming production requirements.

  • Verify the quality and quantity of ingredients during dosing operations and perform on-line quality checks in accordance with Quality Control Points (QCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Make process adjustments as required to ensure bulk products consistently meet quality specifications and production standards.

  • Record, validate, and report production outputs accurately using SAP and other production management systems.

  • Validate bulk transfers and issuance to Bulkers and Bulk Dispensary personnel while ensuring traceability and compliance.

  • Perform Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, and Tightening (CILT) activities and ensure proper operation of mixers and associated equipment.

  • Perform preventive maintenance activities according to maintenance schedules and maintenance planner requirements.

  • Ensure real-time reporting of operational losses, downtime, waste generation, minor stoppages, changeovers, and equipment breakdowns.

  • Complete required production and quality documentation, including process sheets, dispensary sheets, machine checklists, recipe records, and traceability documents.

  • Participate in Focused Improvement activities and validate the effectiveness of implemented improvements through real-time observations and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure proper shift handovers by communicating operational status, issues, and priorities to incoming Process Control Operators.

  • Comply with all company policies, GMP, HACCP, GHK, safety regulations, Code of Business Principles (COBP), and Corporate Rules and Regulations (CR&R).

  • Utilize digital tools, smartphones, tablets, and other technology solutions to support operational reporting, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Participate in training programs, operational meetings, emergency work order (EWO) investigations, and other activities assigned by management.

  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, Safety, Logistics, Planning, and third-party personnel to achieve production and operational objectives.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Technical Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.

  • Has 2 years of experience operating manufacturing, processing, mixing, or industrial production equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, electronic, instrumentation, and process control systems.

  • Basic understanding of thermodynamics, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and industrial process operations.

  • Knowledge of raw material handling, quality specifications, and physico-chemical analysis techniques.

  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, autonomous maintenance, troubleshooting, lubrication practices, and mechanical systems.

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, UMS, OEE computation, loss measurement, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement principles.

  • Basic knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Occupational Health and Safety (OSHAS), and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational issues and recommend process improvements.

  • Ability to accurately document production activities, maintenance activities, and operational performance metrics.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform effectively with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and commitment to quality standards.

  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and support shift-based operations as required.
