This position is responsible for overseeing asset protection for the organization, including managing security inventories, ensuring the safety of workers and customers, and preventing theft. It involves developing, implementing, and enforcing security protocols and procedures, maintaining order and peace, and directing the overall operation of security personnel and officials.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Creates, reviews and prepares documents pertaining to security, such as incident reports, corporate plans, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
  2. Establishes budgets for security operations, plans security high-risk events, analyzes financial reports to assure the effectiveness and caliber of security operations, and initiates orders for security-related supplies and equipment as necessary.
  3. Works and coordinates with the fire department, police enforcement, and other agencies to coordinate security operations or activities as deemed necessary. Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to stay up-to-date on any changes to executive legislative directives or emerging technology that may have an impact on security operations and to help with emergency management and contingency planning.
  4. Creates or implements security standards, policies, and procedures, conducts, supports, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facilities security processes.
  5. Analyzes and evaluates security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
  6. Prepares reports and delivers presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of rules, policies, and procedures.
  7. Recommends security procedures for security call centers, operations centers, domains, asset classification systems, systems for acquiring, developing, maintaining, and controlling access to information and reporting tools.
  8. Ensures compliance with internal security rules, licensing requirements, or relevant government security requirements, policies, and directives, and monitors security policies, programs, or procedures.
  9. Collects and evaluates security data to identify security requirements, security program objectives, or program successes; supervises subordinate security professionals by hiring, training, allocating tasks, assessing their performance, or enforcing discipline as necessary.
  10. Ensures that all plantwide facilities is in conformity with security policies and regulations, conduct physical inspections of it; communicates security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
  11. Organize or carries out executive protection measures. Follow emergency response protocols when dealing with medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or incursion alarms.
  12. Plans, oversees, or coordinates security operations to protect company assets, personnel, visitors, or other individuals on company property.
  13. Serves as liaison for the peace and order with the outside group/elements.

This position involves managing overall QA operations to ensure conformity with regulatory, customer, and company guidelines; updating the plant on the latest regulatory and customer requirements; providing technical support for resolving quality and food safety challenges; overseeing the adherence of ingredient and packaging suppliers to company standards; and formulating company-wide quality and food safety standards and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

  1. Formulates and implements plant-wide food safety and quality policies that align with both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  2. Supervises and coordinates all planned and systematic activities to assure that Franklin Baker products meet established quality and food safety standards, and ensure these standards are effectively established, maintained, and improved.
  3. Addresses customer feedback, complaints, and inquiries promptly, ensuring that all customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Manages QA Department operations, which includes:
    • Product Testing and Verification
    • Hold and Release Procedures
    • Control and Disposition of Non-Conforming Products
    • Oversight of Laboratory Operations
  5. Sources and manages QA staff effectively to develop their competence and ensure high performance.

This position oversees the overall performance in the development, implementation, and administration of Integrated Management System (IMS), BRCGS, HACCP, Halal, Kosher, ISO 22000, ISO 9001, Organic, regulatory and customer requirements to ensure that products produced are within established standards and consistently met both internal and external requirements.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Manages activities concerning Quality, Food Safety, Legality, and Product Authenticity.
  2. Establishes plant-wide food safety and quality policies and guidelines in compliance to customer and regulatory requirements.
  3. Manages all planned and systematic activities necessary to adequately demonstrate confidence that Franklin Baker products will satisfy given requirements for quality and food safety and that these are established, implemented effectively, maintained and improved.
  4. Handles effectively customer feedbacks, complaints and inquiries by responding to all customer needs in a timely manner.
  5. Manages the Product Testing and Verification, Hold and Release, Control & Disposition of Non-conforming Product and manages the Laboratory Operations
  6. Ensures effective management of Quality Assurance staff to develop employees’ competencies.
  7. Verifies processes, provides documentations and manages staff of QA personnel involved in the operations.
  8. Provides support for resolution of plant issues requiring technical expertise, especially on quality and food safety requirements.
  9. Leads and mentors the QA team members to grow and develop their capabilities by contributing to the organization while coordinating and managing the efforts of the team.
