Job Description
As a junior civil engineer, you would play a crucial role in supporting the successful planning, design, and implementation of civil engineering projects while gaining valuable experience and expertise in the field. Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting in Project Planning: Collaborating with senior engineers to plan projects, including determining project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Designing: Assisting in the design process, which may involve using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans and drawings for structures such as roads, bridges, buildings, or drainage systems.
- Site Inspection: Conducting site visits to gather data, assess project feasibility, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and project specifications.
- Material Testing and Quality Assurance: Assisting in testing construction materials, analyzing test results, and ensuring that materials meet quality standards and project requirements.
- Cost Estimation: Assisting in estimating project costs, including materials, labor, and equipment expenses, and helping to develop budgets and timelines.
- Project Management Support: Supporting project managers in coordinating various aspects of projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and communication with stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: Collaborating with the project team to identify and resolve technical issues, design challenges, and construction problems that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence, and providing regular progress updates to project stakeholders.
- Compliance and Regulation: Ensuring that all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including safety regulations and environmental laws.
- Continuous Learning: Keeping up-to-date with advancements in civil engineering technology, techniques, and best practices through ongoing education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- With or without experience, Open to fresh graduates.
- Licensed or Non-Licensed Engineer are welcome to apply
- Good understanding of engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Work Schedule: Regular Dayshift
