Job Description
The Head of IT is responsible for shaping, executing, and managing the organization’s overall IT strategy and operations. This leadership role ensures the effective functioning of all IT systems and infrastructure, while aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. It involves leading a team, driving innovation, and managing technology projects to support organizational growth and efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Partner with senior leadership to craft IT strategies that support and advance the organization’s vision and goals.
- Create and oversee a long-term IT roadmap, covering technology upgrades, system improvements, and resource planning.
- Direct the planning, deployment, and upkeep of IT infrastructure—including servers, networks, and storage—for the main office, retail stores, and kiosks nationwide.
- Ensure infrastructure performance, scalability, reliability, and security across all sites.
- Lead and manage IT projects from inception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Define clear project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
- Assign appropriate resources and track project milestones and outcomes.
- Establish and uphold cybersecurity measures and protocols to safeguard organizational systems and data.
- Remain informed of emerging cyber threats and ensure the company is equipped to address vulnerabilities.
- Oversee vendor and service provider relationships to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Negotiate favorable terms for contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Administer the IT budget, monitor expenditures, and control costs.
- Identify areas for operational savings and productivity enhancements.
- Ensure prompt resolution of IT issues and provide support when necessary.
- Guarantee that IT practices comply with applicable regulations and industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- You must be familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred.
- You must have at least 10 + years of Progressive experience in IT Management, with a track record of successful Leadership skills.
- You must have a strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including Agile development, continuous integration and deployment, and testing.
- You must have experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
- You must have experience managing IT networks across the Philippines for stores and kiosks.
- You must have strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.
- You must have knowledge of data privacy and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- You must have proven project management skills and experience in handling complex IT projects.
- You must have solid knowledge, experience, and proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 platform (including Azure, Power BI, Power Automate, Teams, and SharePoint).
- You must have experience in training end users.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 am – 6:00 pm)
Work Setup: Full onsite, Makati City
