Job Description
This role involves managing and enhancing the company’s IT infrastructure to support business growth, ensure system reliability, and maintain operational performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Collaborate with the Head of IT to evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies that align with business needs and growth plans
- Proactively oversee and schedule maintenance for infrastructure systems including WAN/LAN, servers, racks, data centers, and communication tools (e.g., email, instant messaging, phone systems) to ensure system uptime, availability, and performance
- Plan and implement infrastructure projects to improve operational efficiency
- Maintain network uptime and proactively identify and address potential security threats
- Ensure all network-related tasks and responsibilities are kept up to date
- Coordinate with business units to manage and execute infrastructure-related projects
- Analyze system performance and maintenance data to identify issues and recommend process, workflow, or equipment improvements
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships (e.g., IPVPN and email providers) to ensure quality service delivery
- Lead and support the Infrastructure Support Team, monitoring KPIs and ensuring timely, accurate task completion
- Monitor backend application server performance and report any emerging risks
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You must be a college graduate of IT, Engineering, or any related course.
- You must have at least 10 years of experience in an IT-related field.
- You must have good vendor management & negotiation skills
- You must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- You must have LAN & WAN, Database, Server Administration knowledge
- You must be proficient in Windows Environment, Operating Systems & Microsoft Office
- You must have knowledge and experience in MS SharePoint.
