Job Description
The position is responsible for supporting the accounting function through accurate record-keeping, bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and compliance-related activities. It ensures timely processing of financial transactions, maintenance of accounting records, and preparation of supporting documents to support financial reporting, audits, and regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, accounting records, and supporting documentation.
- Process and monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and basic account reconciliations.
- Assist in monitoring cash flow, supplier payments, and financial transactions while supporting audit and reporting requirements.
- Prepare and maintain government and corporate compliance filings, permits, renewals, and accounting records.
- Organize accounting documents and perform administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
- You must have at least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You must have knowledge of bookkeeping principles, accounting systems, and government compliance requirements.
- You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- You must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
