Job Description
This position involves managing overall QA operations to ensure conformity with regulatory, customer, and company guidelines; updating the plant on the latest regulatory and customer requirements; providing technical support for resolving quality and food safety challenges; overseeing the adherence of ingredient and packaging suppliers to company standards; and formulating company-wide quality and food safety standards and procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Formulates and implements plant-wide food safety and quality policies that align with both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Supervises and coordinates all planned and systematic activities to assure that Franklin Baker products meet established quality and food safety standards, and ensure these standards are effectively established, maintained, and improved.
- Addresses customer feedback, complaints, and inquiries promptly, ensuring that all customer needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manages QA Department operations, which includes:
- Product Testing and Verification
- Hold and Release Procedures
- Control and Disposition of Non-Conforming Products
- Oversight of Laboratory Operations
- Sources and manages QA staff effectively to develop their competence and ensure high performance.
