Job Description
The Technical Sales and Business Development Manager will develop market presence for Industrial Services Businesses (Energy, Chemical, Oil & Gas and Power Plants) and will be responsible to originate new business and to manage key existing strategic client relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Work with the Management to conceptualize, develop and execute both short term, mid-term and long-term business strategies to contribute to the business growth targets in Philippines.
- Identify new opportunities, markets, partnerships, or alliances.
- Drive and grow the Inspection services in Philippines for new account acquisitions and increase wallet share with existing clients.
- Identify, understand and define customer needs, objectives and business requirements, design a solution that can best meet the Clients’ requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations and Technical Managers to identify, drive and develop new service capabilities.
- Collaborate with relevant business units in Philippines and our strategic partners in project negotiation, pricing strategies and project realization where applicable.
- Monitor, review and analyze project progression to maximize the financial and business performance.
- Actively participate in lead generation activities which include customer workshop, tradeshows, and company events. Work with the corporate team in market research and marketing intelligence activities.
- Build, strengthen and optimize relationships with clients, prospects and partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or any relevant studies.
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Sales.
- Have at least a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant industry, corporate sales, or business development experience from the Energy, Chemical, Oil & Gas and Power Plants.
- Established track records in leading both market planning and business development initiatives.
- Has broad cross-cultural and market exposure with strong networks across the region.
- Established track records in sales or business development initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and people management skills.
- Willing to travel around the Philippines
