Job Description

As a Business Developer, your primary responsibility is to expand the business’s market presence by identifying, acquiring, and developing high-potential new accounts. You play a key role in the company’s Route-to-Market strategy by evaluating area potential, onboarding strategic accounts, and driving volume growth through effective relationship management and collaboration with the sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
You will: 

  • Conduct territory mapping and market surveys to identify high-potential large accounts and wholesalers, facilitating their recruitment and placement of initial orders to expand territory coverage.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with newly acquired accounts to ensure consistent order placements and sustained sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement growth strategies, while maintaining service excellence to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.

 QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • You must have a minimum of 1 year in sales, business development, or similar roles is an advantage.
  • You must have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with potential clients.
  • You must be proactive, goal-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • You must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned area.
