Job Description
The Social Media Lead takes charge of the company's day-to-day presence across digital platforms—translating the brand’s values, campaigns, and community energy into real-time, high-impact social content. Reports directly to the Digital and PR Lead and in charge of the execution of our social media strategy, ensure consistent platform performance, and foster genuine community connection. Also responsible in developing the social media strategy, building content calendars, ensuring the creation of engaging content, and driving daily interactions that reinforce brand love. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative and organized, with a pulse on trends and a deep understanding of the beauty space in the Philippines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Manage company’s presence across key platforms mainly including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Collaborate with the stakeholder's social media team to ensure alignment of calendars, content strategies, and brand voice across all channels.
- Ensure brand messaging and visual direction are consistently applied across platforms.
- Develop and execute a strategic content plan to drive brand awareness, audience growth, and engagement
- Conduct regular audits and generate reports to assess performance and identify opportunities
- Stay up-to-date with local and global social media trends, platform updates, competitor activities, and best practices
- Own and manage the social media content calendar, ensuring alignment with overarching campaign strategies and broader brand calendar
- Ensure consistent creation and posting of compelling content that aligns with the company’s voice and resonates with our audience, collaborating on content production (photography, videography) as needed. This can include but is not limited to:
- Developing BAU materials educating consumers on products, usage, etc.
- Taking charge of conceptualizing and producing hardworking, high-impact content during brand shoots, events, activations, and community initiatives, e.g. live updates, behind-the-scenes footage, and post-event recaps
- Ensure engagement with the community through comments, messages, and other touchpoints to build brand love and loyalty
- Oversee the conceptualization and execution of various community engagement initiatives on social media and within our community groups
- Spearhead initiatives to drive relationships with UGC creators to develop a steady pool of partners for user-generated and commissioned content.
- Lead the planning and coordination of creator seeding and UGC campaigns to support brand storytelling and product visibility on social platforms, collaborating with the Digital and PR Lead to align creator content with ongoing campaigns and social strategy.
- Track and monitor content performance across platforms to evaluate effectiveness and optimize future executions.
- Prepare concise reports highlighting key metrics, top-performing content, and actionable insights to inform ongoing social strategy.
- Align with Digital and PR Lead on boosting/ online ad spending priorities and allocation
- Manage and coach the social media and community team providing mentorship and feedback to help them reach their full potential
- Develop and oversee the achievement of team and individual OKRs and KPIs
- Ensure healthy and collaborative ways of working across all functions and teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in marketing, experience in digital marketing, content strategy and social media a big plus
- Bachelor's graduate of any relevant field
- Open to profiles from brand side OR agency side
- Must be able to provide feedback on creative assets and caption copy
Work Set-up: Hybrid | 1x-2x a week onsite
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | Dayshift
Work Location: Makati City
