Job Description
The position is responsible for supporting procurement operations by coordinating purchasing activities, supplier communications, and delivery schedules to ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials required for production. It assists in processing purchase transactions, maintaining procurement records, and monitoring supplier performance to support efficient supply chain operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and procurement requirements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders while monitoring order status, delivery schedules, and supplier commitments.
- Follow up on pending orders and resolve delivery or supply issues affecting operational requirements.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, purchasing documents, and inventory-related information.
- Coordinate with warehouse and production teams regarding material requirements and support supplier performance monitoring and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- You must have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- You must have at least 2 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- You must have knowledge of purchasing processes, inventory management, and supplier coordination.
- You must have good negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems.
- You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
