Job Description

The position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance, operational readiness, and safety of facilities, workplace infrastructure, and technical systems across office locations and partner sites. It ensures that facilities, equipment, utilities, and workplace technology remain safe, reliable, and fully functional to support business continuity and operational efficiency. The role also serves as a designated Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards and emergency preparedness requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

You will:

  • Support the maintenance and operation of facilities, office infrastructure, utilities, equipment, and workplace technology to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting of facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, air conditioning, lighting, and office infrastructure.
  • Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, scanners, CCTV systems, structured cabling, and basic networking equipment.
  • Assist in office expansions, workstation deployments, relocations, onboarding readiness, and workplace setup activities.
  • Maintain inventories of facility equipment, tools, spare parts, technical assets, and maintenance supplies.
  • Coordinate and respond to facilities and technical support requests to minimize operational downtime.
  • Serve as the designated Safety Officer by conducting safety inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, and workplace compliance activities.
  • Support emergency preparedness programs, fire drills, evacuation exercises, and workplace safety awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain maintenance records, safety reports, compliance documentation, and facility-related records.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance facility reliability, operational readiness, workplace safety, and employee experience.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 

  • You must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Facilities Management, Electronics, Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
  • You must have at least 2–4 years of experience in facilities operations, technical support, maintenance, building services, or site operations.
  • You must have working knowledge of electrical systems, building utilities, air conditioning systems, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • You must have hands-on experience supporting workstations, printers, CCTV systems, structured cabling, networking devices, and office infrastructure.
  • You must have knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and workplace safety practices; Safety Officer certification is an advantage.
  • You must have strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
  • You must be willing to travel between sites and provide onsite operational support when required.
  • You must be highly organized, dependable, and capable of responding to urgent operational concerns outside regular business hours when necessary.
